Where they once used 5,000 trays weekly, that number quickly doubled to 10,000. To address these logistical challenges, Fuite’s cardboard supplier suggested investing in a Boix tray forming machine, allowing them to erect their own trays in-house. This move enabled real-time tray forming, saved storage space, and significantly reduced costs — flat-packed blanks are not only cheaper than pre-assembled boxes, but they also reduce transport costs.
