The event covers every single sector of that business and provides a complete picture of the latest innovations, products and services at every link in the international supply chain; it also offers super networking and contact opportunities to the key decision-makers in every area of the industry.

This 28º edition has brought new development business and network opportunities, as well as, strategic sales vision to adapt the sector agriculture and carton development changes in the new sustainable and circular economy. We have been able to observe, how specific aspects of the international fresh produce business are changing: new production trends, notable shifts in consumer behavior, and the emergence of new distribution channels. This year, however, the focus of our research has been on a trend that in practice can apply to any individual part of the global fruit and vegetable sector – sustainability.

Looking far beyond the horizon, the fruit and vegetable industry is moving towards circular business models. In a circular economy, the value of products, materials and resources are maintained for as long as possible by returning them into the product cycle at the end of their use, while minimizing the generation of waste. So, it seems, the greatest opportunity to get a Boix tray former machine as strategic value associated with using corrugated and folding carton as sustainable packaging for fruit and vegetables produce.

“Automatic and adjustable two head machine for small boxes or punnets”

Las MCT-1/VE is an automatic adjustable machine to form and glue small trays and punnets. The punnets or trays can be erected in both corrugated and solid board. It is a double head machine and therefore has the possibility to erect two different sizes of trays. The machine can form smaller trays than the MCT1/V, in 6 speeds from 1550 up to 3.000 trays per hour, per head.
